Birthstone Bud Necklace

Exclusively at UncommonGoods.com

Necklace 17" long.  Dainty Budding Branch 2.25" long

The Birthstone Bud Necklace is about celebrating life and the vitality of your birth month. This new design has become one of my favorite pieces yet. Not only is it beautiful, simple and earthy chic, but it also evokes emotion and tells the story of the wearer. While designing this necklace, I became nostalgic about my college years when I was fascinated with horoscopes and gemstones. This feeling validated that my designs are intertwined into who I am, even 15 years later. In saying that, this necklace has truly found a special and meaningful place in my heart.

Birthstones have been traditionally used to symbolize prosperity and good health. Commemorate a loved one, friend or even your own birth date with one of these personalized heirlooms.

How to clean Copper jewelry

Copper jewelry is so beautiful, especially when it gets a natural patina over time. I am always having customers ask "how should I clean copper?"  To some, the piece can tarnish too quickly.  Use this simple cleaning solution to get your piece to sparkle like new.

{what you will need}
Small Bowl, Water, Lemon Juice, Salt, old Toothbrush, Baking Soda, Polishing Cloth.

{how to}
Make a solution out of warm water, a few drops of lemon juice, and a teaspoon of salt. Next, emerge the jewelry into the solution for a few minutes and then rinse thoroughly. Use an old toothbrush with a little baking soda to get holes and crevasses. Finally, use a jewelry polishing cloth to keep the jewelry shiny between cleaning. Remember; DO NOT use on pearls or semi-precious stones.
